The tutorial focus will be defining the challenges associated with the development of multi-functional complex bioanalytical microsystems as well as solutions to this multi-faceted problem. The tutorial will include a general overview of microsystem based bioanalytical functions achieved to date, methodologies for integration of multiple bioanalytical functions into complex bioanalytical systems, as well as methodologies for integration of fluid control and packaging for these microsystems.
