On Monday 30 October, approximately 40 11-15 year old girls from schools in the Glasgow area will participate in a sensors information and challenge day, run in partnership with the Stemettes http://stemettes.org/

On the day, the students will hear from a number of speakers who work in the field of sensors on their experience of working in the industry, and will participate in a sensor-related challenge throughout the day. Conference attendees are welcome to pop into the event at any time during the day.

With participation from the Universities of Strathclyde and Glasgow Caledonian, plus CENSIS, there will be plenty of advice and encouragement available for students on the day.

Thank you to our volunteers:
Prof Sheila Smith ( Professor and Assistant Head of Department, Glasgow Caledonian University)
Helen Sandison (Senior Engineer, CENSIS)
Rachael Wakefield (Business Development Manager, CENSIS)
Ian Reid (CEO of CENSIS).
